Showcase Subscribe’s Privacy Policy

National Amusements, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliates, which collectively operate under the Showcase Cinemas brand (“Showcase Cinemas,” “we” or “us”) has created a special privacy policy (“Policy”) for the collection, use, and disclosure of information in connection with our monthly membership program, Showcase Subscribe (“Subscribe”). Subscribe is only available in the United States; however, it is not available at the Showcase SuperLux - Chestnut Hill theatre located at 55 Boylston Street, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467. For more information regarding the Subscribe program, generally, and information about the membership plan options available, specifically, please refer to the Showcase Subscribe Terms and Conditions of Use (https://www.showcasesubscribe.com/terms), which are incorporated herein by reference. The Showcase Cinemas Privacy Policy further explains how we use the information we collect about you and the procedures we have in place to safeguard your privacy when you visit Showcase Cinemas’ websites and applications.

What Information Subscribe Collects
Customers are able to register for Subscribe through the website, located at www.showcasesubscribe.com (the “Site”), and through the Subscribe Application (the “Application”).
The personal information (“Data”) we collect from Subscribe members may include:

• Personal details you give us through completion of forms on the Site and/or Application, including, but not limited to, name, address, telephone number and email address, as well as the option to upload a profile picture on the Application.
• Authentication information you supply to provide authentication and access to your Subscribe account, contact information and password.
• Demographic data such as date of birth and gender.
• Debit or credit card information, including the name as it appears on the credit/debit card, the credit/debit card number, credit/debit card expiration date and the CVV code, all of which we need to pass to a bank or card processing agency for verification.
• Certain non-personal information is recorded by the Site, which allows us to recognize you and your preferred settings. Such data is recorded locally on your computer through the use of cookies. Your browser can be programmed to reject cookies or warn you before downloading them. The non-personal information that we collect may include the type of operating system in use (e.g., Macintosh or Windows), the type of browser a visitor uses (e.g., Chrome or Internet Explorer), IP addresses, and the number and frequency of visitors to our Site. You can adjust your browser’s settings to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you choose to reject all cookies or similar technology, however, you may be unable to use much of the functionality of the Showcase Cinemas Sites and Applications, such as polls, surveys or contests.

We will not consider data or information that is anonymized in an irreversible manner as Data within the scope of this Policy. In addition, any information provided by you without the request of Showcase Cinemas will not constitute Data within the scope of this Policy. Please avoid sending your voice, images and any other personal information that Showcase Cinemas did not specifically request via any communication channel, including, but not limited to, email.

What We Do With Your Information:
We use personal information that we collect from the Site and Application for some or all of the following purposes:

• To process your registration and orders for subscriptions, subscription-related products and other movie-related purchased services.
• To allow you to customize your profile if desired.
• In some cases, we may use your email address to send you information on other Showcase Cinemas products and services, such as exclusive promotions (special screenings, special offers, etc.). Showcase Cinemas will provide you with the option to opt in or out of such communications.
• We may need to pass the information we collect to other companies for administrative purposes. In particular, we use a third party technology service provider to store all of data collected in connection with Subscribe. However, Showcase Cinemas owns the data and our third party service provider will not be able to use your personal information for its own purposes.
• We may use aggregated information to monitor use of the Site. Showcase Cinemas may provide aggregated information to third parties; however, these statistics will not include any personally identifying information.
• In the event Showcase Cinemas or any of its assets are acquired by a third party, personal information acquired by Showcase Cinemas may be one of the assets transferred. As a part of any such transaction, we will treat your information as an asset and transfer it to the purchaser.

How We Protect Your Information:
The internet is not a secure medium; however, we have put in place recommended up-to-date security measures on our Site and Application, which we review and update regularly. Our third party technology service provider, like Showcase Cinemas, offers industry standard risk and fraud prevention tools and procedures for the storage of your Data, including, but not limited to, GPS functionality to limit ticket redemption to the specific mobile device of a verified patron at a specific theatre location. Furthermore, Showcase Cinemas and its third party technology service provider employ industry standard risk and fraud prevention tools throughout the payment card authorization and settlement processes. As risk and fraud management information is reviewed for payment transactions, the transaction may be denied based on the level of risk presented.

Privacy of Children
Subscribe’s Site and Application are not aimed at children under the age of 12. We do not collect information from children under 12 years of age. We encourage parents to supervise children’s online activities and review parent control tools available from online services to ensure a child-friendly experience on the Internet. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a child (individuals 12 or under), we will immediately purge that information. A parent or legal guardian of children (individuals 12 or under) can revoke the right to gather and/or use personally identifiable information of a child, and we will, upon such event, purge that information.  Such revocation will result in the termination of the affected child’s participation in Subscribe. A parent or legal guardian may review your child’s personally identifiable information at any time, and you may have your child’s information deleted at any time. On occasion, it may be necessary for us to change the terms of this Policy. To ensure that you are aware of current privacy practices, we recommend that you check our Site and the Showcase Subscribe Terms and Conditions periodically. We will endeavor not to materially change how we handle previously collected personally identifiable information without providing prior notice to you. Such notice may include publicly posted notices. You should regularly check our Site to determine if any change(s) have been posted.
